Bear Proof Cans

Please see the following attachment on the receipt of bear resistant garbage cans. 

Residents who currently reside in the following areas: Little Swartswood Lake, Paulinskill Lake or on Sunrise Trail, Shaw Road, Rolling Acres Dr., or Shamrock Trail will be receiving a notice in the mail pertaining to the pick-up of their bear proof resistant can from the NJ DEP. Please be on the look out. These residents will be able to pick up their can on Friday, May 10th between 2:00pm-4:00pm. A copy of the letter and proper photo ID is required. 

Residents who currently reside in the Crandon Lakes neighborhood, you will be able to pick up you can on Friday, May 17th between 2:00pm-4:00pm. You must bring the received letter and proper ID is required. 

If you RESIDE at any of the above listed areas and/or streets and you do not receive your letter, please call 973-383-5570 prior to 2:00pm on May 10th or May 17th.
