The Hampton Township Board of Health was established in July 1, 1961 by the Hampton Township Committee. It is comprised of seven volunteer members, and its purposes are to protect and promote the public health, safety, and well-being of Hampton Township residents.
The Hampton Board of Health is an autonomous body which sets policies and oversees recognized public health activities in the community.
These activities must meet the “Public Health Practice Standards of Performance for Local Boards of Health” established by the New Jersey State Department of Health and Senior Services.
