Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill

Affordable Conectivity Program

A new program, passed by Congress, called the Affordable Connectivity Program was created under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill. The new program provides eligible households up to $30/month off their internet bills, as well as a one-time $100 discount off a laptop, tablet, or computer. Eligibility is based on income threshold, or households/individuals who participate in Medicare, SNAP, WIC, SSI, or other similar programs. This new program allows families to have reliable broadband access to connect to education and work opportunities. Additionally, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill has invested more than $8 billion to help fix hundreds of roads and bridges in the State of New Jersey. It will also help to remove lead and forever chemicals from drinking water - all without increasing the tax burden on North Jersey Families.
