Trunk or Treat
Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 6pm-8pm
Please join us for our annual Trunk or Treat event and festivities! To participate in the trunk or treat event, please register your vehicle with firstname.lastname@example.org. Then decorate your trunk with any theme you wish and treats for the trick or treaters! The top 3 decorated trunks will receive awards! There will also be a children's costume contest with awards as well! Due to the volume of this event, if you would like to participate with this event you must register a vehicle or register to donate a few bags of candy/treats if you'll only be bringing trick or treaters. The donated candy will be used to replenish any vehicles that may run out of candy while there are still little trick or treaters out there. Trunk set up may begin at 5pm, the trunk or treating will begin at 6pm. There will also be a haunted hay ride, refreshments, and other spooky surprises!
Volunteers for this event are also appreciated! Any students looking to receive community service time will be awarded! We will need volunteers to help setting up the decorations/concessions/tables at 4:30pm, 2-3 volunteers to assist at the entrance to the trunk or treat to distribute vehicle numbers and collect bags of candy from walk-ins to distribute to vehicles, assisting in the concession stand from 6pm until approximately 8pm, about 8-10 people to be our "spooky" characters in the haunted hay ride, and help cleaning up after the event.
