State of NJ Extends Deadline for ANCHOR Tax Relief

You May Be Eligible for Up to $1,500 in Property Tax Relief

More than two million New Jersey residents are eligible to receive up to $1,500 in property tax relief under the new ANCHOR program — and you may be one of them. 

To be eligible for this benefit, you must have occupied your primary residence on October 1st, 2019. You must also file (or be exempt from) NJ income taxes.  

Homeowners and renters can apply online and by mail; homeowners also have the option to apply by phone by calling 1-877-658-2972. For specific questions about the program and to see if you qualify, visit the ANCHOR FAQ page and watch this video from the New Jersey Treasurer's Office.
